This is an undated, late 1890s edition of Camille by Alexandre Dumas Fils, published by The F.M. Lupton Publishing Company. It features a dark blue cover with embossed burgundy flower detailing on the front cover and spine. The title is banded in gold on the spine. There are 214 pages. F.M. Lupton Publishing Company was at the address printed on the title page from 1894-1899, and this is their Acme edition, which was only published between 1897-1899, dating this book to those years. A true antique!
The book is in good antique condition for its age and use. The detailing on the cover is still clear but has faded on the spine. The gold band on the spine is still bright though beginning to fade. There is general wear to the covers, especially the corners and edges, and some discoloration to the back cover. H.G. Hemenway (?) wrote their name in pencil in the front cover. The pages are very yellowed. The book has started to split at the spine in the very center of the book, but there are no loose pages.
The book measures 7.5 inches by 5 inches. It is 1 inch thick.
