This is a set of two Holt Howard ceramic mice shakers. The mice are light brown with orange brown stripes and black details for eyes, noses, mouths, paws, and tail. One mouse has a red bow on their tail and the other has a blue bow. Both mice are giving cheeky side eye to the other, making them look most mischievous. Both have three shaker holes on the tops of their heads and cork stoppers at the back. Their bottoms have a metal insert and are marked Holt Howard 1958. They also both have the Holt Howard logo stickers near their tails.
The shakers are in good vintage condition for their age and use. The metal inserts are noise makers designed to make the mice squeak when shaken, but they are sadly no longer working. The blue bow mouse has a small chip on the edge of the bow and a larger chip on its left ear front. Please see photos! Otherwise, there are no other chips or cracks. The glaze and paint is intact and still bright.
The shakers measure 4.25 inches tall. The are 3 inches wide at their widest point. They are 1.5 inches in diameter at their base.
