This is small wood and metal bird cage made to look like bamboo with a small fake bird inside. The bird cage is a simple domed shape with a small cupola on the top. The cupola is painted a dark gray-black as is the band around the middle and bottom of the cage. Inside the cage is a small u-shaped perch with a sweet little fake bird on the perch. The bird is mostly pink with grey wings and tail feathers and a white ruff. The bottom of the cage has a metal latch and round door to the inside of the cage. The top of the cupola has a small wire loop to hang the cage if desired. The bottom of the cage has four small wooden feet.
The cage is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The latch on the bottom works, but the door is stuck by a small piece of wood wedged inside the cage and does not open. The inside of the cage is dusty. The bird is in good condition with no missing feathers just some minor fading. The cage is solid with no missing, wiggly, or broken ribs. The cupola is firmly attached.
The bird cage measures just over 6.5 inches in diameter. It is about 10.5 inches tall.
