This is a gold-metal Lipton Tea Bags tin for Orange Pekoe & Pekoe. The tin is gold colored metal with lettering in white outlined in orange. The lid has an image of the Lipton appointment from King George V. The sides are printed with 15 Lipton Orange Pekoe & Pekoe Tea Bags 15 also outlined in orange. The bottom is printed in orange letters. The inside of the tin is also gold metal with black lettering on the tin. The tin is marked Thomas J. Lipton, Inc. (Packer) San Francisco, Hoboken, and Chicago in several places.
The tin is in good vintage condition for its age and use. It has general wear especially the sides of the lid where the gold coloring has worn away. There are two larger scratches to the top of the lid with general scratching all over. The lid opens and closes easily.
The tin is just over 6 inches long. It is 3.25 inches wide and just over 1 inch tall.
