This is a heavy ceramic planter or utensil crock with an all over 3D sea life print. The flower pot is has a black underglaze finish where the 3D creatures are mostly white with the background black, making the sea life pop. It is round and features star fish, sand dollars, sea weed, sea grass, and various seashells. There is no makers mark on the bottom of the pot but Evelyn inscribed her name and 3-1976.
This crock or planter pot is in good vintage condition for its age and use. It looks like it was used as a plant pot as there is dirt residue and discoloration on the inside of the planter. There are no cracks, but there are two chips. One is to the bottom edge of the pot and one is to the top edge on the top of a seashell. The glaze is still shiny with minimal to no crackling.
The flower pot measures 7.5 inches in diameter. It is 5.5 inches tall.
