This is a 1926 seventeenth printing, first edition of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes by Anita Loos, illustrated by Ralph Barton, and published by Grosset & Dunlap. This edition has blue marbled front covers with the title lettered in black. The spine is taped in red linen and lettered in black. The book is "intimately illustrated" by Ralph Barton with black and white illustrations throughout. There are 217 pages with additional advertisement pages at the end.
The book is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The covers have general wear, especially to corners and edges with the cardboard exposed at the corners. Jo Coombes wrote their name in pencil inside the front cover. The spines are still attached. The pages are yellowed.
The book measures 5.25 by 7.5 inches. It is just under one inch thick.
