This is a vintage tin that was made in England. It features a blue background with silver and black detailing. The whole tin has a Roman mosaic or tile feel with a cherub on the lid surrounded by large urns. The lid is has embossed details giving a fish scale appearance to the border around the cherub. The sides are decorated with animals - deer, leopards, and bears - in more geometric tile-like borders and motifs. The inside and bottom are gold colored. The bottom is marked Container Made in England.
The tin is in vintage condition for its age and use. It's chippy and rusty, which is my favorite. The front panel is pushed in slightly at the right side. There are scratches, faded print, and rusting all over. The inside also has wear with a large area of rust. Please see photos!
The tin measures 9.25 inches long by 6 inches wide. It is 3.75 inches tall.
