This is a framed sepia-toned portrait of a men's basketball team. The photograph looks to be on the original photographers mat, as it's embossed but tucked about halfway under the frame. I think it says J.L. Linnett. The other side of the mat is embossed 76. Guild Street (something) Trent. The photograph shows 11 gentlemen in white shirts and dark pants as well as 2 gentlemen in dark suits. The middle gentleman is holding a large ball, presumably a basketball. The portrait is framed in a dark wood frame with an inner gold border under the glass. The back is covered with wood and has an old shoestring as the hanging wire. The portrait is definitely vintage and most likely an antique based on the clothing in the photo.
The portrait and frame are in good condition for their age and use. The photo has faded from black and white to sepia. The frame glass has discoloration from dust and age. The frame gold border has discoloration but is still shiny. The frame has general wear.
The frame measures 12.25 inches by 10.25 inches. It is about an inch thick. The photograph itself is 5.75 by 4 inches.
