This is a vintage edition of Barrack Room Ballads by Rudyard Kipling, published by Dodge Publishing Company. It features his famous poem, "Gunga Din". This edition has a green leather soft cover with a gold title block with embossed flowers and the title showing the leather underneath. The inside front and back covers are dark green textured paper. The title page is illustrated with a minimalist Art Nouveau border. There are 150 pages. While undated, Dodge Publishing Company only operated from the West 23rd Street address listed on the title page during 1927.
The book is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The green dye on the covers has faded to show the natural brown leather at the edges and along the spine. The covers are attached, but the endpapers have small cracks where it looks like the covers may have been folded back. The pages are yellowed.
The book measures 6.25 by 5 inches. It is .75 inches thick.
