The cooking classic The Joy of Cooking was first published in 1931, and they are still publishing it today! This is the January 1978 Ninth Printing edition. The cover is white with gold lettering. The spine also has gold lettering. This edition is packed with thousands of recipes as well as chapter heading illustrations. It's 915 pages long with two attached red ribbons to mark favorite pages.
This book is in great condition for its age and use. The cover has minimal wear to the corners, edges, and spine. The cover has begun to yellow but is still bright and the gold lettering is intact. The pages are still bright with some minimal yellowing. The spines are still attached and tight.
The book measures 10.5 inches by 7 inches. It is 2.25 inches deep.
