This is the antique 1910 edition of The Greatest Stories Ever Told for Young and Old by the Reverend Jesse Lyman Hurlburt, D.D., published by W.E. Scull. It features a blue cover with white floral decorations and black illustrations in an Art Nouveau style. The spine is also decorated in white and black with flowers and flourishes. The cover and spine are lettered in gold. Both the inside front and back endpapers are a light green paper with slight cross-hatching. The book is illustrated with both full color and black and white illustrations as well as photographs. It tells 110 connected Bible stories, forming a sort of abridged and illustrated Bible. There are 558 pages.

The book is in good antique condition for its age and use. The covers have general wear and the cover and spine illustrations are intact and bright. The gold lettering has begun to fade, especially on the spine. There is one small hole to the spine along the front fold. The front cover has completely detached from the spine, and the back cover is attached, but barely hanging on. The pages are yellowed. The illustrations are still bright.

The book measures 7 inches by 9.5 inches. It is 1.5 inches thick.
