This is a kitschy cute ceramic tea bag holder. It is white ceramic in the shape of a teapot with a green leaf hat for a lid and a yellow bowtie for the base. The body of the holder has a bump for a nose with two painted eyes and rosy cheeks. Above the face is painted "I hold the BAG". The handle and spout are green. The back is stamped Japan.
The tea bag holder is in great vintage condition for its age and use. There are no chips or cracks. The glaze is crackled with some very minor staining.
The tea bag holder measures 3.75 inches across and 2.75 inches wide. It is .75 inches tall.
