This is a set of 2 lovely Hull yellow ware crock bowls. The bowls are banded at the top with the natural stoneware showing through and then a wide blue band surrounded by two smaller blue bands around the middle. The bowls are both marked 421 H B on the bottom.
The bowls are fair condition for their age and use and would be great for display. Both have large chips to their top rims and both have cracks to their sides with the larger bowl's crack going through part of the bottom too. Both have crackled glaze with staining to the crackling. Both have chips to the bottom rims. They both have a lovely farmhouse vintage patina!
The larger bowl measures 10 inches in diameter and is 4.5 inches tall. The smaller bowl measures 8 inches in diameter and is 4 inches tall.
