This is a brass vase in the cloisonne style. The vase is a solid brass urn that has been painted and enameled in the cloisonne style. Most of the vase has been painted blue with two sides having an arch in brass. In the arched space, there is a floral motif on both sides of pink and yellow flowers with green leaves and stems on a pearlescent background. The bottom has a made in India sticker.
The vase is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The brass has dull somewhat with some minor discoloration and tarnish spots. The floral motifs are intact and bright. There a couple of small spots on the sides and one very small spot near the top where the blue paint has chipped away exposing the brass underneath.
The vase measures 2.5 inches in diameter at the base and 3.25 inches wide at the mouth. It is about 5.75 inches wide at its widest point. The vase sits about 5 inches tall.
