This is an antique / vintage book set with blue covers and gold lettering. The set includes the undated The Best Known Works of Emile Zola published by The Book League of America and includes Nana, The Miller's Daughter, Captain Blue, and The Death of Olivier Becaille. It has a blue embossed cover with gold lettering and decoration on the spine. The set also includes The Rosary by Florence T. Barclay and published by G.P. Putnam's & Sons. It also has an embossed cover with gold lettering with gold lettering and embossed decoration on the spine. Rosary was published in 1911.
The books are in good antique / vintage condition. Their spines are faded to more of a purple color. Both have general wear to covers and spines. Zola's gold lettering on the spine has faded. The spines are attached in both books. Both books have yellowed pages. Zola has a strip cut off of the inside front cover page. Rosary has ink inscriptions inside the front cover.
Zola measures 8 by 5.5 inches. It is 1.25 inches thick. Rosary measures 7.5 by 5.25 inches. It is 1 inch thick.
