This is a brown and green marbled jewelry box with floral details. It is heavy cardboard wrapped with a brown, green, and white textured marbled vinyl. The box is detailed all over with black line flowers and flourishes. The top is hinged and attached at the back with brass hinges and closes at the front with a large brass latch and lock. The inside is divided into two trays with the top tray lofted up by thin brass arms. The inside is lined with mustard gold felt and has 4 small square compartments. The bottom tray is open with no dividers.
The box is in good condition for its age and use. The lid opens and closes easily. The latch closes but prefers to be popped open slightly. There is no key for the lock and it is fortunately unlocked. The vinyl is in good condition with no rips, tears, or scratch marks. There are several small places on the top of the lid that have a dark green discoloration. The inside felt has some discoloration with either scratches or missing areas of flocking, especially to the far right top compartment. The top tray felt is beginning to lift up on the sides.
The box measures 10 inches long by 7 inches wide. It is 3.5 inches tall.
