This an Atlantic Mold ceramic planter in a southwestern style. It has a rounded bowl or basket shape with a wide mouth and smaller base. The sides are decorated with a geometric pattern reminiscent of basket weaving and cacti. The planter is glazed in a 1970s orange with red and brown accents. The bottom is marked Atlantic Mold.
The planter is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The glaze is intact and shiny. There are two holes drilled in the bottom so the planter can drain. There are no cracks, but the top rim has several small chips to the paint, almost all accumulated on the one side. Someone wrote Mom MADE This in black sharpie on the bottom and highlighted Mom's initials A.K.
The planter measures 4 inches in diameter at the base and 6.25 inches in diameter at the top. It is about 5.5 inches tall.
