This is a envelope sized linen pocket expanding or accordion file folder. It is a green-ish beige with dark green sides and bottom from the files. The file has a clutch-like style, and it would work as one. It has two canvas ribbon strings to wrap around the file and hold it closed. Inside, the tabs are labeled alphabetically and by months. One of the tabs is also labeled No 320 Banker's Case. The underside of the flap is lined with beige linen.
The case is in vintage condition for its age and use and has interesting character. The linen on the outside has general wear with some staining and discoloration. The canvas strings are fraying at the ends but still firmly attached at the back of the file. One corner of the bottom linen has frayed exposing the cardstock underneath. F.T. Cheetham stamped his name and Taos, New Mexico on the under flap twice in black ink. The XYZ-Dec label has begun to peel up. The accordion is intact with no rips or tears.
The file folder measures 9.5 inches long by 4.25 inches wide. It is just under 1.5 inches thick.
