Zane Gray Book Set Vintage The Thundering Herd (1925) / The Drift Fence (1933)

This is a set of two Zane Gray books. The Thundering Herd was published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1925. It features a safety cone orange cover with a black outline illustration on the cover and black lettering. There is also black lettering and a black buffalo on the the spine. It is illustrated with illustration plates and has 400 pages. The Drift Fence was also published by Grosset & Dunlap, this time in 1933. It has blue covers with black lettering. There is an illustration at the title page and has 314 pages.

The books are in good vintage condition for their age and use. Thundering Herd has some general wear and discoloration to the covers. The spines are attached; the pages are yellowed. The Drift Fence has a large tear along the top third of the spine with some smaller tears along the back side of the spine. It also has general wear with discoloration. The spines are attached. There is a library pocket inside the back cover and ink marks inside the front cover. The title page has 27091 written in blue ink and a Jennings County Public Library stamp. On the second title page someone has written 1-2-40 Indiana [?] .75 in blue ink.

The books measure 5.5 inches by 7.5 inches. They are both 1.25 inches thick.
