This is the antique 1917 edition of A Journey to Nature by J.P. Mowbray, published by Doubleday Page & Co. It features a forest green cover with gold lettering. The spine is also lettered in gold. The title page has a lovely Art Nouveau illustration of a tree, and the first and last page of each chapter also has illustrations by Henry Troth. There are 315 pages.
The book is in good antique condition for its age and use. The covers have general wear, mostly to the corners and edges of the spine. The front cover has cracked at the title page, holding on with just the webbing. The back cover is still attached. There are shorthand notations in pencil in the back cover "wgkc 190". The pages are yellowed.
The book measures 7.5 by 5.25 inches. It is 1.25 inches thick.
