This is an gold metal frame with two small round feet. The frame is gold with a thicker plain border in between two thin braided borders and what looks like sunbursts at the four corners. At the bottom are two rounded feet. The sides and back of the brass is also etched with floral curlicues. The back of the frame is covered by a burgundy velvet. There is a gold loop to hang it on the wall.
The frame is in good vintage condition for its age and use. There are areas of discoloration with some small tarnish spots. The glass is mostly clear with some minor clouding but no scratches. The velvet backing has some small scratches and fading, mostly along the bottom of the frame. There used to be a stand but that has since been cut off leaving the top part still attached to the backing.
The frame measures 8 inches by 10 inches with an 7 x 9 rectangular opening for the picture.
