This is a Kaico white enamel tea kettle. It is a white metal tea kettle with a curved silver metal handle with bamboo attached to both sides with metal pins. The kettle has a white lid with a round bamboo knob handle. The inside of the kettle is black. The bottom is marked Kaico Made in Japan. What a great minimalist design!
The kettle is in good secondhand condition for its age and use. To be honest, I'm not sure how vintage this tea kettle is, but it is definitely secondhand. The kettle enamel is mostly intact inside and out with some discoloration to the rims and bracket areas. It has started to chip away on the bottom of the tea kettle. The inside bottom has lots of discoloration with some areas of rust. The lid comes on and off easily. The handle is attached securely. The wood of both is smooth with some discoloration.
The tea kettle measures 6 inches in diameter at the base. It is 7.75 inches from edge to spout and 4.25 inches tall including the knob but not including the handle.
