This is a set of vintage gardening books. The set includes Garden Flowers in Color by Daniel J. Foley and Garden Bulbs in color by J. Horace MacFarland, both published in 1952 by The MacMillan Company. The books have red linen covers lettering in black on the spine and covers. The books are fully illustrated with color photographs of common garden and cut flowers as well as bulb flowers. There are 320 pages to Garden Flowers and 296 pages to Garden Bulbs.
The books are in great vintage condition for their age and use. The covers have general wear. The spines are attached in both books. The pages are starting to yellow and the photographs are still bright. Garden Bulbs has several plant labels tucked in the pages.
The books measure 9.5 by 6.25 inches. They are about .75 inches thick.
