This is a lovely Clay City Pottery style stoneware crock bowl in a bright blue color. The bowl is banded at the top with the natural stoneware showing through at the rim. The band has an etched and glazed tree branch style pattern with the band the natural stone and the branches in blue. The sides of the bowl have crossing vertical and horizontal lines with the bright blue glaze. The bowl has no makers mark.
The bowl is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The bowl has one small glazing chip to the inside side of the bowl. Otherwise, the bowl has minimal wear.
The bowl measures 9 inches in diameter and about 4.25 inches tall.
