This is a miniature ink and watercolor painting of a church by Gary R. Dierking. The painting is thumbnail size and shows a white church with a red roof and steeple on a green hill. Next to the church are two trees and above the church are two black birds. The painting sits on a blue and white background of sky and clouds. The painting is signed in the lower right corner. The painting is matted with a cream mat with an black ink border. The painting is framed in a thick brown wood frame with white wash on the interior and exterior borders. The back is covered in brown paper with a small metal hanging bracket. The paper is labeled in ink, "Country Church Ink & Watercolor Gary R. Dierking".
The painting and frame are in excellent condition for their age and use. They have minimal wear. The back paper does have one small hole.
The frame measures 3 by 3.5 inches and is just under 1 inch thick. The painting is .5 by .75 inches.
