This is a 1970s style raffia basket that could be used as a plant pot or as a wastebasket. It is round with light blond colored raffia. The outside is embroidered with colorful rattan to make flowers. One side has a big pink and white flower and the other side has a white and orange flower. On the opposite sides there are three flowers on stems and leaves. The flowers on one side are white and the other are pink. The inside of the basket is lined with white.
The basket is in good vintage condition for its age and use. It has discoloration to the white lining, especially at the bottom. The raffia is in good condition with some minor discoloration in areas. The pink flowers has one strand of green loose.
The basket measures 7 inches in diameter at the top. It is 6.5 inches tall.
