This is the 1960 Second Edition of Blakiston's Illustrated Pocket Medical Dictionary, edited by Normand L. Hoerr and Arthur Osol, and published by The Blakiston Division of McGraw-Hill Book Company, Inc. It has dark green covers with gold lettering on the spine. The dictionary has 24 illustrative plates with both color and black and white plates. There are 985 pages.
The book is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The covers have minimal to no wear and the gold lettering is intact and bright. Charles E. Wittenborn Agency Mgr. stamped their information in black ink inside the front cover. The covers are still attached at the spine. All the illustration plates are included. The pages are yellowed.
The book measures 7 inches by 4.75 inches. It is 1.5 inches thick.
