This is the 1968 Second Edition of Practical Invertebrate Anatomy by W.S. Bullough and published by MacMillan & Co Ltd. It has dark green covers with gold lettering on the spine. It is a zoology textbook designed to provide brief descriptions of invertebrate anatomy. The book is illustrated with black and white diagrams of invertebrate species. There are 483 pages.
The book is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The covers have minimal to no wear and the gold lettering is intact and bright. John A. Young wrote his name in blue ink inside the front cover. Someone stamped the original $9.00X price as well. The pages are beginning to yellow. The spines are still attached at the covers. The remnants of the original dust jack are being used as a bookmark.
The book measures 7 by 10 inches. It is 1.5 inches thick.
