Vintage Floral Fabric Covered Book with An American Family & Love Letters of a Rookie

This book is a puzzle! It is actually two separate books - one-quarter An American Family from 1918 and the other three-quarters from Love Letters of a Rookie. It looks like maybe someone was learning how to bind and cover books and used two book remnants as practice. The book is covered with a bright floral fabric that has been sewn together down the middle. The front cover is pinned on. The back cover is sewn together.
The book is in vintage condition for its age and use. Like I said, it's a puzzle, but it's an interesting one with some cool vintage fabric for the cover! The fabric has some discoloration and staining along the right edge. The book pages are loose but the covers are still attached at the spine. The pages are yellowed.
The book measures 5.25 by 7.5 inches. It is .75 inches thick.
