This is an undated Newberry Classics edition of Robin Hood by Henry Gilbert, published by David McKay Company. It has the original full color illustrated dust jacket. The book underneath also has a full color inset on the cover with dark red covers and black lettering on the spine. The book has illustrated endpapers and a full color frontispiece by Frank Godwin. There are 348 pages.
The book is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The dust jacket has wear with some large tears, especially along the spine. The covers underneath are like new. The covers are attached at the spine. Someone wrote 75 in pencil inside the front cover. The pages are yellowed. It does have a vintage book smell.
The book measures 7.5 by 5.5 inches. It is 1.5 inches thick.
