This is a vintage white ceramic picture frame with an oval opening. The frame is white ceramic with orange irises. The irises and their light green leaves are outlined in gold. The frame has a plastic back with both nail holes to hang the frame horizontally and vertically as well as a stand. The back is marked Japan.
The frame is great vintage condition for its age and use. It has two small areas of discoloration to the bottom right portion of the oval opening. The ceramic is bright with no chips or cracks. The irises and gold detailing are bright and intact. The plastic frame covering has some scratches. The back slides on and off. The stand opens and closes easily.
The frame measures 7.75 inches by 6 inches. It is about an inch thick. The picture opening measures 3.75 by 5.25 inches.
