$16.00

This is the 1915 edition of John L. Stoddard's Lectures, Volume VIII, published by Geo. L. Shuman. It features red marbled covers with dark brown leather corners and spine. The spine is decorated and lettered in gold. The inside front and back endpapers are a green and silver floral pattern. The guide covers Florence, Naples, and Italy with full color and black and white photograph and illustration plates. There are 336 pages.

The book is in antique condition for its age and use. The covers have general wear with most wear to the spine. The leather of the spine is cracking at the bottom and has some areas missing, especially where the flowers are. There’s potential it could completely separate during shipping. The covers are attached at the spine at both front and back. The pages have yellowed.

The book measures 6 by 9 inches. It is just over 1 inch thick.
