This is the antique 1862 Danish language edition of Johan Ludvig Heiberg's Poetiske Skrifter, published by C.A. Reitzels Forlag. It has black leather covers with brown leather corners and spine. The spine is lettered and decorated with a theater mask and cherub holding vines in gold. The endpapers are a feathered beige. The text is printed with a gothic script. There are 387 pages.
The book is in good antique condition for its age and use. The covers have minimal wear, except for the top right corner which has a scuff. The back right corner is also scuffed, and there is a very small piece of the black leather missing where it meets the spine at the back cover. The back cover has started to detach from the spine at the inside. The front is still attached. The pages are only minimally yellowed.
The book measures 4.75 by 6.5 inches. It is 1 inch thick.
