This is the 1962 edition of Ship of Fools by Katherine Anne Porter, published by Little, Brown, and Company. It has mustard yellow covers with brown lettering. Porter's signature is on the front and a medieval motif on the spine. The endpapers are deep marbled burgundy. There is an illustration on the title page. There are 497 pages.
The book is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The covers have general wear with one small area of discoloration to the back cover. The covers are attached at the spine. The pages are yellowed.
The book measures 6 inches by 8.5 inches. It is 1.75 inches thick.
