This is an undated, antique edition of the Man in the Iron Mask by Alexander Dumas, published by Hurst & Co. It has green embossed covers with black lettering on the covers and spine. The front cover has a gold detailed floral motif with a full color Gibson Girl style portrait. There is a portrait plate of Dumas at the title page and Hurst advertisements at the back. There are 442 pages. While undated, Hurst went out of business in 1919, dating this edition to sometime before then!
The book is in good antique condition for its age and use. The covers have some wear to the corners and edges, but the illustration and portrait are in great condition with minimal fading. The front cover has almost completely detached at the title page, showing the internal webbing. The pages are yellowed.
The book measures 7.25 by 5 inches. It is 1.25 inches thick.
