This is a 1940s style leather clutch purse with a small crystal bow or four leaf clover on the front flap. The purse is done in dark brown leather in a pouch style with a rounded envelope flap. The back side of the purse has a vertical leather strap handle. The envelope flap has a small crystal bow or four leaf clover decoration. The purse snaps with a United Carr snap. These snaps were common in the 1930s and 1940s. The inside of the purse is lined with black grosgrain. There is one large inner pouch with a small pocket. The inside also has a built in kiss-lock closure coin purse. There is no makers mark.
The purse is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The leather has general wear with some scratches and discoloration. The snap has some corrosion that has discolored the surrounding leather and grosgrain. The snap still opens and closes easily. There are no rips or tears to the leather or grosgrain. The crystal decoration is cloudy but has all the crystals.
The purse measures 7.25 inches long by .75 inches wide. It is 5 inches tall.
