This is the antique 1888 fifth edition of Maurine and Other Poems by Ella Wheeler, published by A.C. McClurg & Company. It has brown covers with gold lettering on the cover and spine. The spine and cover are also decorated with a delicate flower and leaf design. There are 254 pages.
The book is in good antique condition for its age and use. It has general wear to the covers, mostly to the corners and spine edges. The spine has some discoloration. The gold lettering on cover and spine is still bright and intact. The cover has detached at the spine at the inside front cover but is still attached by the inner webbing. The back cover is still attached. The pages have yellowed, and it looks like coffee or tea got spilled at page 9.
The book measures 7.25 inches by 5 inches. It is 1 inch thick.
