This is the 1957 edition of the Golden Nature Guide to Rocks and Minerals written Herbert S. Zim and Paul R. Shaffer. It is illustrated by Raymond Perlman. There are 160 pages with 400 full color illustrations.
This book is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The covers are still attached at the spine and spine is still tight. The pages have yellowing but the illustrations are still bright. The covers have general wear with some bends, small scratches, and discoloration.
The book measures 6 inches by 4 inches. It is half an inch thick.
