This is the 1972 Golden Book edition of The Animals' Merry Christmas with 21 stories by Kathryn Jackson and illustrated by Richard Scarry. This is the large, paperback edition with a full color cover and Richard Scarry's famous animal characters. There are two sets of endpapers, one plain green and one colorful snowflakes on a blue background. The book is fully illustrated in color and there are 68 pages.
The book is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The cover has a bend to the lower right corner. The cover lays flat but the bend lines are visible. The covers are still attached at the spine at both the inside front and back covers. There is a small label sticker on the back cover with a series of numbers. The pages have minimal to no yellowing and the colors are still bright.
The book measures 11.75 by 10 inches. It is about a quarter of an inch thick.
