This is a Christmas cottage applique panel in a wood Coats & Clark embroidery frame. The panel is green with white polka dots. The applique is a red and green cottage with a Christmas wreath on the green door. It's attached to the panel with a white thread in a tight zigzag stitch. The panel is slightly stuffed with batting and has a white muslin backing. The panel has been cut to fit inside a wood embroidery hoop with a brass pin.
The applique is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The fabric is bright with minimal fading. There are no holes, tears, or stains. The stitching is not straight all the way around, sometimes exposing the edge of the applique. The hoop is in good condition with some discoloration to the edges.
The applique is 6.25 inches in diameter. It is half an inch thick.
