This is the 1926 reprinted edition of Yule Fire by Marguerite Wilkinson, published by The MacMillan Company. Yule Fire is a collection of Christmas poems with lovely black line illustrations throughout. The cover is light green with an illustration of a lit candle on the cover with details and lettering in gold. The spine is also lettered in gold with a candle decoration. The end papers are illustrated with red line drawings of the Christmas star, the wise men, and shepherds. There are 201 pages.
The book is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The cover has general wear with some fraying to the edges and corners. The candle illustration on the spine has faded, and the gold lettering on the spine and cover is beginning to fade. Lois Watkins wrote her name and Christmas 1936 inside the front cover in ink. She also wrote 34. The spines are still attached. The pages are yellowed.
The book measures 8.25 by 5.75 inches. It is 1 inch thick.
