This is a midcentury ceramic Pommery & Greno Champagne ashtray. The ashtray is somewhat shaped like the letter S with two wave-style sides where the cigarettes would sit - one at the side and one at the bottom. The bottom of the ashtray is printed with the Pommery & Greno name in big serif capitals. Champagne is printed in the left corner and Reims is written in script in the lower right corner. The ashtray has a gold rim. The bottom of the ashtray is marked H. Beard Montreux with the logo.
The ashtray is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The white ceramic is still bright with minimal to no yellowing. The lettering is intact with minimal to no fading or scratches. The gold rim is almost all intact with some small scratches in the cigarette holder areas. There are no chips or cracks. There is one small defect to the top of the ashtray on the side. It looks like a round divot to the porcelain that was glazed over.
The ashtray measures 5.5 inches long by 5 inches wide. It is .75 inches tall.
