This is a set of 5 1960s era Le Cercle du Livre de France French paperbacks. The set includes La Route des Flandres by Claude Simon, Les Rencontres de Stanley by Duc de Castries, Adrienne ou la vie de Mme de la Fayette by Andre Maurois, Le Somnambule by Pierre-Henri Simon, and Mademoiselle Iris by Michel-Davet. Each book has a cream colored spine with the outline of France in green, red, or orange. The colors all vary in color but stay in the shades of red, green, and orange. Each book has rough cut pages.
The books are in good vintage condition for their age and use. The covers have general wear with discoloration, yellowing, and some staining. The covers are all attached at the spine, except for Adrienne which has begun to detach at the front. Some of the rough cut pages have not actually been cut and are still stuck together. The pages have yellowed.
The books measure 8 by 5.5 inches. They are about half an inch to an inch thick
