This is the 1951 first edition French language edition of Dunoyer de Segonzac by Claude Roger-Marx. It has the original full-color dust jacket. Underneath the covers are beige with a black line illustration from Segonzac. Tucked inside the front cover are three Segonzac related pieces of ephemera. The first is a newspaper clipping in French describing Segonzac's work. The second looks to be a mimeographed copy of a Segonzac letter dated February 24, 1969 to his "Tres chere amie". Finally, there is an original postcard from Saint Tropez dated January 7, 1958 signed by Segonzac. The book includes full color removable prints as will as black and white illustration plates. It is written in French and there are 161 pages.
The book and ephemera are in good vintage condition for their age and use. The book cover and dust jacket have both been wrapped in protective wrap which has since yellowed. There are two holes in the wrap that covers the front cover. The dust jacket and book covers underneath are in excellent condition. The letter has been folded but the post card is in great condition and the ink and signature are clear. The pages have yellowed but the prints are intact and still bright.
The book measures 12.75 by 10.75 inches. It is 1 inch thick.
