This is a small round Richard Hudnut Vanity Dusting Powder makeup tin. The top of the tin is decorated with an Art Deco style gold feathered peacock on a light blue background with big red poppy style flowers. The sides of the tin are darker blue with gold flower stalks and red poppy flowers creating a striped pattern. The bottom of the tin and the underside of the lid are gold with lighter gold flowers. The inside of the tin is silver.
The tin is in good vintage condition for its age and use. There are several small tins and general all over darkening of the colors and metal. The print is intact with some scratches and discoloration, especially to the bottom and inside of the tin. The lid does come off but it takes some force.
The tin measures 5 inches in diameter. It is 2.75 inches tall.
