This is a set of 2 Scribner Illustrated Classics, both illustrated by N.C. Wyeth. The set includes Robin Hood by Paul Creswick and The Yearling by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. Both books include their original full color illustrated dust jackets. Robin Hood is orange and The Yearling is green. Underneath, Robin Hood has a brown linen cover and The Yearling has green. Both have gold lettering. Both have full color illustrated endpapers and full color illustration plates by Wyeth throughout. Robin Hood has 362 pages and The Yearling has 400 pages.
The books are in excellent condition for their age and use. Robin Hood has some fading to the spine of the dust jacket. The covers are like new underneath. Both have some minimal yellowing to their pages.
The books measure 9.25 by 7.25 inches. They are both 1.5 inches thick.
