This is a majolica sgraffito style Italian art pottery vase. It features a scalloped urn shape with a footed base. The rim and bottom foot are painted green. The rest is a cream background with sgraffito details of birds, flowers, and leaves. The whole vase is a riot of color with shades of pink, yellow, blue, and green. It is all hand-painted, and the bottom is marked Z058 Italy.
The vase is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The colors are still bright and the glazing shiny. There is one chip to the rim, but otherwise, there are no other chips or cracks.
The vase measures 5 inches in diameter at the rim. It is 8 inches tall.
