This is a lovely glass and metal serving tray or cake plate with handles that was made in West Germany. The tray is a round shape with a silver metal edge and handles. The bottom of the tray is red metal stamped Made in West Germany. It has a cut out hole in the metal to hang the tray on the wall as decoration. The tray is decorated a cream and gold outer edge and a red inner circle. The red inner circle is decorated with a gold circular floral motif.
The tray is in good vintage condition for its age and use. There is one area in the red portion of the tray where the paint has chipped and the other side of the circle the paint is wrinkled. The metal rim and handles have some dark discoloration areas. There are no chips or cracks to the glass.
The tray measures 11.25 inches in diameter and is 13.5 inches wide from handle to handle. The sides are half an inch tall.
