This is the antique 1907 edition of Extracts for French Composition with References to Fraser and Squair's French Grammar, Notes, and Vocabulary by J.E. Mansion, published by D.C. Heath & Co., Publishers. It has black covers with the title embossed on the front cover and in gold lettering on the spine. The book includes English language extracts along with accompanying French vocabulary and grammar in order to practice translation. There are 148 pages.
The book is in great antique condition for its age and use. The covers have general though minimal wear and the gold lettering is still bright. The covers are attached at the spine. K. Grumby wrote their name and Read Hall in ink inside the front cover. The pages are yellowed. There are a couple of ink notations throughout the book as well as a typewritten letter from Dad to Kit dated 12-13-31 tucked in the pages.
The book measures 5 by 7.25 inches. It is .5 inches thick.
