This is a brass spoon with a scorpion handle. The spoon is solid brass with a wide spoon bowl. The handle is shaped like a scorpion with a top-down view. The scorpion's front claws are holding on to the bowl and his tail is flipped up and ready to strike. The body of the scorpion is etched with lines and dots.
The spoon is in great vintage condition for its age and use. It has general wear with some darker tarnish spots. The brass etching is sharp with some minor smoothing to the big claws. The brass is mostly shiny with a lovely patina.
The spoon measures 6.75 inches long. It is 2 inches wide at its widest point and the tail sits 1.5 inches tall.
